Manuscripts
The majority of the manuscripts of Giovanni Battista Amici, more than 12,000 documents, is kept at the Estense Library of Modena (the Amici Fund). Along with the originals of some scientific papers, work notes, calculations, drawings and technical sheets for instruments, the following are of particular importance: the Workshop Account Book, the Visitors’ book, the Travel Diaries and naturally the Correspondence.
